January 2, 2007

Gerald Rudolph Ford 38th President from August 9, 1974 to January 20, 1977

Our nation brings in the New Year with the gathering of our Presidents at the National Cathedral to celebrate the virtues and life accomplishments of President Gerald R. Ford. His core values and leadership skills serve as an ideal mark for our nation and the 110th congress.

Humility, decency and goodness were amongst President Ford’s strongest traits. We as a nation and as a world cherish those traits. Our honor and profound respect to President Gerald R. Ford, his wife Betty, and his family.

May he rest in peace.
