MAJ Schroll is currently assigned as the Executive Officer for the 1-174 Air Defense Artillery (ADA) Regiment, Ohio Army National Guard (OHARNG).
MAJ Schroll played an instrumental role in setting the conditions for the battalion’s successful pre-mobilization training and deployment to the National Capital Region (NCR). MAJ Schroll worked tirelessly with mission partners, to include 5th Armored Brigade, 1-362 Training Support Battalion (TSBN), and the 263d Army Air and Missile Defense Command (AAMDC), to ensure the battalion was prepared to achieve all training objectives during the Culminating Training Event (CTE) at Fort Bliss, Texas.
Major Schroll worked to develop a battalion maintenance plan for major training exercises, including the CTE, and to ensure battalion equipment was properly maintained for operability and site operations were not affected. She continued this oversight throughout the mission by working closely with the battalion maintenance section to identify, prioritize, and track critical non mission capable equipment for timely repair or replacement. Her management of this program ensured no loss of operational capability and mission success. MAJ Schroll also played a pivotal role supporting the battalion’s Organizational Readiness Evaluation (ORE). MAJ Schroll provided purpose, direction, and motivation which resulted in the battalion achieving all evaluated ORE metrics. Her ceaseless efforts resulted in major improvements to the operational effectiveness of the National Capital Region Integrated Air Defense Systems (NCR-IADS) mission and established new standards for current and future rotations to follow.
MAJ Schroll enlisted into the OHARNG in 2008 as a motor transport operator before commissioning from ROTC into the Medical Corps in 2011. After brief service with the 285th Medical Company, MAJ Schroll transitioned to the ADA branch to pursue operationally intensive assignments and lead Soldiers. MAJ Schroll’s previous assignments in the 1-174 ADA include serving as the Tactical Operations Officer, Charlie Battery Commander, and Battalion S3.
Upon return from the NCR mission MAJ Schroll will assume her new role as the Brigade’s Training Officer. MAJ Schroll graduated with a bachelor’s degree in health sciences in 2011 and master’s degree in organizational leadership in 2021. She completed her Intermediate Level Education (ILE) in 2023 and is enrolled in the Advanced Operations Course (AOC). MAJ Schroll currently resides in McComb, Ohio with her spouse Aaron and their two children, Wyatt, and Walker.
