Anthony Manganiello

Mr. Manganiello has 30-years of experience as a technology and operations leader in the US Army and commercial industry. As a Principal & Co-founder of Striveworks, I., he and his partner have created and led a start-up AI/ML firm which applies leading-edge solutions to challenges in both the government and commercial domains. Mr. Manganiello had served as a member of the Army Science Board and a participant in studies on Software Development, AI/ML, Automation and Future Concepts in Battlefield Technologies.

Mr. Manganiello, along with other West Point graduates, created Rowan Technology Solutions LLC. Rowan worked with the Department of History at West Point to develop the West Point History of Warfare, as well as other products and services for the Academy, many other academic institutions, think-tanks and commercial industry. The products and all intellectual property were donated to the Academy.

Until July 2019, Mr. Manganiello served as the Chief Administrative Officer of Virtu Financial LLC where he was responsible for the design, implementation, and day-to-day operations of the firm’s non-trading activities, while remaining fully integrated with the technology development and infrastructure. Mr. Manganiello was instrumental in building the firm from its beginning in the areas of technology, operations and finance. He came to Virtu from Lehman Brothers where he served as the Head of Infrastructure for its Investment Management Division. Mr. Manganiello also worked at Goldman Sachs as a senior manager in Building Infrastructure Technology.

He retired from the Army as a Lieutenant Colonel, Air Defense officer, Acquisition Corp officer and Airborne Ranger. He participated in many deployments, including Operation Desert Storm and Operations in Bosnia. He is a graduate of the Defense Acquisition University as a Board Certified Project Manager. He also served as lead Project Manager of various types of weapons systems (Electric Gun, Picatinny Rail system, Tank Armaments), as well as liaison for PEO Communications Systems in the Pentagon.
