Air grouping and missile defense management exercises are taking place in the Eastern Military District.
Over 8,000 Russian troops, 1,000 pieces of hardware, including around 100 aircraft and helicopters, as well as Pacific Fleet warships, are involved in large-scale air grouping and missile defense management exercises in the Eastern Military District, the district spokesman said Wednesday.
“Air defense, aviation formations, and mechanized infantry formations’ battlefield air defense units have been placed on practice alert across eight Zabaikalsky and Far East regions,” Alexander Gordeev said.
