U.S. officials have issued a direct and unprecedented warning to Hezbollah, cautioning the Shiite militia against assuming that Washington can prevent Israeli military action.

The message, conveyed indirectly to Hezbollah, comes amidst mounting concerns over the volatile situation along the Israel-Lebanon border.

Sources familiar with the discussions indicate that the warning aims to encourage Hezbollah to de-escalate and withdraw from potential conflict scenarios.
