Russia dispatched on Thursday the small missile ship (IWC) Vyshny Volochyok to its naval group in the Mediterranean Sea off the Syrian coast. According to the fleet, Vyshniy Volochek is making a planned transition from Sevastopol to the Mediterranean.
The crew of the ship began the passage of the Black Sea straits of the Bosphorus and the Dardanelles and will commence their duties once they arrive at the Mediterranean group. Vyshniy Volochyok is the sixth ship of the Buyan-M project and is equipped with Caliber cruise missiles.
