Exercise “Slavic Shield” to be held in Serbia in mid-October

The joint Russian-Serbian exercises “Slavic Shield” will be held in Serbia in mid-October this year. A source in military circles told TASS that the Pantsir-S complexes, which will arrive from Russia, will take part in the exercises.

“The Slavic Shield air defense exercise will take place on Serbian territory with the participation of Russian Shells in mid-October,” the source said.

Earlier, in the framework of the Russian-Serbian air defense exercises “Slavic Shield – 2019” on the territory of Serbia, units of the S-400 anti-aircraft missile system took part in joint maneuvers for the first time outside the Russian borders. The Pantsir-S anti-aircraft missile and cannon systems of the Russian Aerospace Forces, as well as the Neva-M1T and Kub-M anti-aircraft missile systems of the Air Force and Air Defense of Serbia were also involved in the training…
