A White House spokesman on Tuesday condemned a failed missile launch by North Korea, the latest in a string of nuclear and weapons tests by the rouge nation.
Josh Earnest told reporters that the U.S. “strongly condemns” the attempted launch, saying Pyongyang violated United Nations Security Council resolutions that prohibit it from using ballistic missiles.
“The United States and the rest of the international community calls on North Korea to refrain from actions, including this failed missile test, that further raise tensions in the region and focus instead on taking concrete steps toward fulfilling its international obligations,” Earnest added.
