USS Carl M. Levin (DDG 120) is the 70th Arleigh Burke-class destroyer overall and the fifth (of nine) in the “Flight IIA: Technology Insertion” variant. “Technology Insertion” ships are fitted with elements from the future DDG 51 Flight III. DDG 120 had its keel laid by Bath Iron Works in February 2019. The ship was launched in May 2021 and christened in October 2021.
