Naval News reached out to an analyst at the RAND Corporation, a non-profit research Think Tank, for his comments, recommendations, and opinions on the U.S. Navy’s next-generation destroyer program, DDG(X), that is slated to replace the DDG 51 Arleigh Burke-class AEGIS destroyers. The DDG(X) is currently being designed by the U.S. Navy’s Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA).
