Boeing is pushing back against the Missile Defense Agency’s (MDA) plan to assume management of the Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) weapon system. The company has been the go-to prime contractor for development, production, fielding, sustainment and operational support of the nation’s largest, multi-billion dollar missile interceptor complex since 2001.
