The next Missile Defense Review should examine the evolving security environment and identify the requirements for a suitable missile defense architecture for the next 30 years to 40 years. Such an architecture should consider not only the growing missile threats from North Korea and Iran but must also be designed and produced to deter—and if necessary, defeat—a significant salvo of intercontinental ballistic missiles fired at North America from China and Russia.
