The use of long-range weapons is a key element in reducing the military potential of the aggressor country. Destroying logistical chains and military targets deep within Russia, as well as eliminating concentrations of personnel and equipment, is made possible by missiles, loitering bombs, and deep strike capabilities. Additionally, an effective missile defense system is being created to protect Ukrainian cities from enemy shelling.
Thus, among the Ministry of Defense’s key tasks for 2025 is the development of innovative systems that target enemy objectives at maximum range with high precision.
In 2024, investments in this direction already yielded concrete results on the battlefield:
The first domestically produced missiles were made, including expanding the serial production of cruise missiles.
Development and testing of ballistic and cruise missiles, increasing their strike range.
Ongoing efforts to organize the supply of anti-aircraft missile systems (SAMs) through joint production with Ukraine’s defense industry and foreign partners.
