One of two Patriot air systems Spain possesses is placed in the Spanish Valencia autonomous community, while the other is at Turkey’s Incirlik Air Base.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan opposes the removal of the system from his country before the agreement’s term expires at year’s end.
