Russia is planning to outfit its Northern Fleet with its S-400 missile defense system in the next few years.
The Russian Navy says it will create an anti-missile dome to protect its arctic assets.
Vice Admiral Alexander Moiseev, the commander of Russia’s Northern Fleet, said the S-400s would make, “a de facto anti-missile dome”.
Russia has been fortifying its position in the Arctic and holding various drills over recent years.
