Raytheon unit Collins delivers 600th TVA for THAAD missile system

Raytheon Technologies unit Collins Aerospace has delivered the 600th Thrust Vector Actuation System (TVA) for the US Army’s Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) missile system.

So far, the all-electric TVA has successfully guided 100% of the live-fire intercepts completed for the THAAD weapon system.

According to Collins Aerospace, TVA demonstrates the capabilities required for future missile systems.

For more than four decades, the company has leveraged its expertise in the design and manufacture of ‘high-performing and precise missile actuation’.
