Army asks Lockheed Martin to build Patriot PAC-3 hit-to-kill missile systems for 12 U.S. allied countries

REDSTONE ARSENAL, Ala.  Air- and missile-defense experts at Lockheed Martin Corp. will provide MIM-104 Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3) missiles to 12 U.S. allied countries under terms of a $77.1 million foreign military sales contract announced late last month.

Officials of the U.S. Army Contracting Command at Redstone Arsenal, Ala., are asking the Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control segment in Dallas to provide PAC-3 missiles for the governments of Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Japan, South Korea, Germany, The Netherlands, Poland, Romania, and Sweden.
