The Israeli Ministry of Defense has signed a new contract with Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) to significantly accelerate the serial production of Arrow interceptors. The agreement will result in the delivery of a substantial additional quantity of interceptors.
The move follows the Arrow system’s performance during the Swords of Iron War, particularly in Operation Rising Lion, where it demonstrated critical interception capabilities. The Arrow system offers both exo-atmospheric and endo-atmospheric interception against ballistic missile threats, serving as a key element of Israel’s strategic defence.
