AUSA NEWS: Oshkosh Introduces Autonomous Vehicle Trio for Missile Defense

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Responding to the Army’s push towards missile defense and modernization at speed, Oshkosh Defense introduced a trio of autonomous ground vehicles at the Association of the United States Army’s annual meeting and exposition Oct. 15.

The Family of Multi-Mission Autonomous Vehicles vary by payload and feature an emphasis on mobile missile launching. The largest vehicle is oriented for heavy payloads, purpose-built to support evolving long-range munitions; the medium-payload version can host the Multiple Launch Rocket System Family of Munitions; and the light version has potential for counter-drone, electronic warfare or resupply missions.
