Army Eyes Lockheed for PAC-3 Interceptor Comms System Requirements Review

The U.S. Army looks to partner with Lockheed Martin‘s missiles and fire control unit to review system requirements for a guided missile system’s networked interceptor communications kit.

A FedBizOpps notice posted Friday says the project will include engineering work on the software-based communication technology intended for the Phased Array Tracking Radar to Intercept on Target Advanced Capability-3.

Work will also cover preliminary designs, analysis and trade studies necessary to define all systems and subsystem specifications.

The missile communication device is designed to support the Army’s integrated air and missile defense platform.
