The 605th Test and Evaluation Squadron (TES), Detachment 1, Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, recently participated in Astral Knight 20, a U.S. Air Forces Europe (USAFE)-led integrated air and missile defense (IAMD) exercise in Germany and Poland.

Astral Knight 20 (AK20) is a biennial IAMD exercise focused on incrementally developing a theater-wide joint IAMD architecture. AK20 consisted of multinational IAMD assets performing regional ballistic missile defense (BMD) against constructive threats, with a simultaneous field training exercise (FTX) featuring fighter and surface-based air defense (SBAD) integration against an air and cruise missile threat.
