U.S. Soldiers raising the flag at the Ronald Reagan Missile Defense Site at Vandenberg Air Force Base, California prior to the Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) system intercept test on May 30, 2017

Dear Members and Friends,

Click here to watch U.S. Soldiers raising the flag at the Ronald Reagan Missile Defense Site at Vandenberg Air Force Base, California prior to the Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) system intercept test on May 30, 2017.

We stand with our nation here at our Ronald Reagan Memorial Missile Defense Observation Site that we created and dedicated March 27, 2008 with Mrs. Nancy Reagan at Vandeburg Air Force Base, California for the first ICBM intercept test of our Ground Based Interceptor launched below the memorial in launch facility 23 nestled close to the Pacific Ocean and in our view.

We stand by our nation’s missile defense

Mission Statement

MDAA’s mission is to make the world safer by advocating for the development and deployment of missile defense systems to defend the United States, its armed forces, and its allies against missile threats.

MDAA is the only organization in existence whose primary mission is to educate the American public about missile defense issues and to recruit, organize, and mobilize proponents to advocate for the critical need of missile defense. We are a non-partisan membership-based and membership-funded organization that does not advocate on behalf of any specific system, technology, architecture or entity.
