In the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, the painting Washington Crossing the Delaware hangs in Gallery 760; Emanuel Gottlieb Leutze - 1851

The depth of character, the wealth of resilience, the service of the nation over self, and the relentless leadership defines our country’s veterans. We look up to them, we follow them, we want to be around them for they are the salt, the sweat, and the tears of what makes our nation great.

Our veterans represent the diversity of our people and have come together in unity, under one cause, to serve the nation for our freedoms and for our democracy.

Our veterans represent the leadership of the past, present, and future of American government, industry, and charities, working in key positions that set the pace to make changes for the good, in creating and sustaining cultures that excel.

Our veterans are the fathers and mothers, sons and daughters, grandfathers and grandmothers that instill their ethos, their character, their values, their leadership into the next generations of Americans.

We honor them today and always.

Our veterans are leaders.

Mission Statement

MDAA’s mission is to make the world safer by advocating for the development and deployment of missile defense systems to defend the United States, its armed forces, and its allies against missile threats.

MDAA is the only organization in existence whose primary mission is to educate the American public about missile defense issues and to recruit, organize, and mobilize proponents to advocate for the critical need of missile defense. We are a non-partisan membership-based and membership-funded organization that does not advocate on behalf of any specific system, technology, architecture or entity.
