“So I will put the American system up against any other. And I’ll do so with great pride and total confidence. No other country had the creativity to put such phenomenal computing power into our pockets. And no other nation has our astonishing universities, our grounding rule of law, and our restless spirit.” -Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin III, December 4th,2021, Reagan National Defense Forum, Simi Valley, California

In one of our nation’s astonishing universities with a program that no other country has done before, our Global Space and Defense Program with the University of Southern California is investing in our nations critical thinking in engineering, policy, and innovation for the future. The program is a partnership between MDAA and USC’s Sol Price School of Public Policy and Viterbi School of Engineering that will enable a diverse group of experts to produce powerful and meaningful solutions to our nation’s toughest national security problems. Earlier this week, USC’s Viterbi School of Engineering released a story about the first in-person classes for this first Cohort. – (Combining Tech, Innovation and Policy for a Safer World), Nick Nuccio, December 6th, 2021, Los Angeles, California

Mission Statement

MDAA’s mission is to make the world safer by advocating for the development and deployment of missile defense systems to defend the United States, its armed forces and its allies against missile threats.

MDAA is the only organization in existence whose primary mission is to educate the American public about missile defense issues and to recruit, organize, and mobilize proponents to advocate for the critical need of missile defense. We are a non-partisan membership-based and membership-funded organization that does not advocate on behalf of any specific system, technology, architecture or entity.
