This morning, North Korea launched two ballistic missiles into the Sea of Japan. This most recent North Korean launch is reported to have flown 800km (500 miles) at an altitude of 60kmh from the country’s inland, as reported by South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff. Every and each launch of ballistic missiles by North Korea enhances their capabilities and reliability of all ranges of their Ballistic Missile Fleet. Japanese officials have reported the missiles landed inside Japan’s exclusive economic zone. This follows their weekend test of new long-range cruise missiles and the ramping up of nuclear material processing at Yongbyon.
