The Inaugural Cohort of the Global Space and Defense Program at the Ronald Reagan Memorial at Vandeberg Space Force Base in California on November 20, 2021

This year, we shot for the stars with our Global Space and Defense Program at the University of Southern California. We followed the North Star to track our stars as we traversed across the Pacific to Hawaii and Guam, up north to Alaska, out west to Nevada, California, and Colorado, and up and down the east coast from Georgia to Alabama to New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York. We found and honored our Star Missile Defenders who protect our homeland every day and night through our Champion events in Hawaii with the Indo-Pacific Air and Missile Defender of the Year event, in Huntsville, in Guam with the Guam Defender of the year event, the U.S. Missile Defender of the Year in Alexandria, and the New Jersey Reception of Champions both virtually and in person. We hosted five prestigious Congressional Round Tables with Missile Defense Stars: On the Ground in Tel Aviv, Missile Defense in Great Power Competition, Defensive Fires in Afghanistan, Air to Air Missile Defense, 80 Years Later- Are We Ready to Defend the Pacific, and Missile Defense and the FY-22 NDAA.

2021 was for chasing stars, catching stars, finding stars, developing stars within our vast missile defense community. We wish all of our members and supporters a happy and peaceful holiday season.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, from our stars to your stars.

Mission Statement

MDAA’s mission is to make the world safer by advocating for the development and deployment of missile defense systems to defend the United States, its armed forces and its allies against missile threats.

MDAA is the only organization in existence whose primary mission is to educate the American public about missile defense issues and to recruit, organize, and mobilize proponents to advocate for the critical need of missile defense. We are a non-partisan membership-based and membership-funded organization that does not advocate on behalf of any specific system, technology, architecture or entity.
