A Primer on American Missile Defense

The American Foreign Policy Council just released their June 2017 Issue of the Defense Dosseir, an e-journal covering national security and defense issues. In this issue, titled “Reexamining Global Missile Threats and Responses,” all articles were focused on the key missile defense issues of today.

In this issue, the Missile Defense Advocacy Alliance contributed with an article titled “A Primer on American Missile Defense,” by myself, which provides an in-depth overview of the current U.S. missile defense capabilities to defend the U.S. Homeland, U.S. Allies, and U.S. forward deployed troops.

MDAA’s mission is to make the world safer by advocating for the development and deployment of missile defense systems to defend the United States, its armed forces and its allies against missile threats.

MDAA is the only organization in existence whose primary mission is to educate the American public about missile defense issues and to recruit, organize, and mobilize proponents to advocate for the critical need of missile defense.
