MSI Defense Solutions has delivered the first EAGLS counter-drone system to the US Army.
A total of six systems have been contracted in support of the “forward deployed forces facing emerging and persistent uncrewed aerial systems threats,” the North Carolina-based firm stated.
The contract was awarded by the Naval Air Systems Command through the Rapid Acquisition Authority, including associated engineering and maintenance support.
A US Department of Defense contract notice earlier stated that the company was contracted to deliver five EAGLS to the United States Central Command Area of Responsibility, including the Middle East, Central Asia, and parts of South Asia.
