State Department OKs Poland’s $3.7B FMS Requests for Missile Defense Systems

The State Department has approved Poland’s foreign military sales requests worth $3.68 billion combined to procure short-, medium- and extended-range air defense missiles from the U.S. government.

Poland has requested 821 Lockheed Martin-manufactured (NYSE: LMT) Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile-Extended Range missiles and associated logistics and program support under a potential $1.77 billion FMS deal, the Defense Security Cooperation Agency said Tuesday.
