Rafael begins DSWS deliveries to Israeli Air Force

Following completion of the final phase of a series of development and proving trials by the Israel Ministry of Defense (MOD) and US Department of Defense in December 2015, Rafael Advanced Defence Systems has begun delivery of key elements of the David’s Sling Weapon System (DSWS) to the Israeli Air Force (IAF) Air Defence Command.

The David’s Sling Test-4 (DST-4), conducted at a test range in southern Israel, was the fourth series of tests of the DSWS, and the final milestone before delivery of an operational system to the IAF.
