Govcon Wire:
Raytheon has received a $200 million contract modification from theMissile Defense Agency to plan and analyze the test for the ballistic missile defense system.
The company will also continue to maintain system software and hardware, perform modeling and simulation support, and provide engineering services, the Defense Department said Thursday.
Raytheon will carry out the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract in Woburn, Massachusetts, beginning on Nov. 1, 2015, through Oct. 31, 2017.
The missile is designed to counter short, medium, intermediate and long-range ballistic missiles.
