Space Systems Command
EL SEGUNDO, Calif.– Space Systems Command (SSC), the U.S. Space Force (USSF) field command responsible for developing and delivering resilient space capabilities, stood up two System Deltas (SYDs) in an activation ceremony at Los Angeles Air Force Base on July 10, 2025.
USSF Lt. Gen. Philip Garrant, SSC commander, presided over the ceremony at which Col. Stevie Medeiros assumed command of the Space Sensing System Delta 84 and Col. Dane Bannach assumed command of System Delta 810.
