Norway has committed to financing the purchase of one Patriot air defense system for Ukraine.
The announcement was made by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who also noted that Germany was prepared to fund two additional Patriot systems. These contributions will significantly strengthen Ukraine’s air defense capabilities.
“When we receive a clear response from the manufacturer and the U.S. regarding the timelines, other European partners will also join,” Zelensky said.
