Kuwait hosts GCC ant-ballistic missile defense meeting

The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) team tasked with establishing a regional ballistic missile defense started its 13th meeting here on Monday.
These regular meetings seek to achieve further coordination, exchange of views and unity among the air defense chiefs of the GCC six member states, head of the team Brigadier Adel Al-Hadhrami said, according to a statement by Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense Directorate of Moral Guidance and Public Relations.

“They contribute to enhancing GCC joint action and achieving a unified work system for the member states”, head of the GGC Secretariat delegation for Military Affairs Lieutenant Colonel was quoted by the statement as saying. The meetings run as far as 16 August.
