July 1, 2015

GovConWire:

The Missile Defense Agency has awarded Innovative Defense Technologies a three-year, $9.99 million contract to develop and deploy the company’s Automated Test and Re-Test tool suite for testing and integration work on ballistic missile defense systems.

The Defense Department said Monday the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract runs through June 24, 2018.

MDA has already issued a $50,000 task order for work in New Jersey and Virginia with funds from the research, development, test and evaluation budget for fiscal year 2015, DoD added.

DoD also noted that contract work will take place over three phases.

ATRT works to automate data analysis, requirements verification and the functional, regression, interface, concurrency, endurance and performance testing of software-based systems.
