Financial Review:

China says the deployment of nuclear-capable B-52 bombers by the United States to northern Australia will escalate regional tensions and trigger an arms race.

“Such a move by the US and Australia escalates regional tensions, gravely undermines regional peace and stability, and may trigger an arms race in the region,” a Chinese foreign ministry spokesman said on Monday.
