Barak will strengthen the UAE’s defense against Iranian-made missiles and kamikaze drones, which are used by the Hussites to destroy the country’s critical infrastructure. The developer of the air defense system is Israel Aerospace Industries.

The United Arab Emirates has not yet specified which version of Barak it received. There are three versions of the system: medium, long and extended range.
