The U.S. Army is conducting market research into potential vendors who can advise and assist the service in efforts to address space and missile defense requirements through an upcoming follow-on contract.
The Space and Missile Defense Advisory and Assistance Services II contract will cover non-personal A&AS and operational support to the Army Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Forces Strategic Command, the military branch said Thursday in a FedBizOpps notice.
SMDA2S II will revolve around the areas of missile defense; space; information operations; cyber operations; and command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance.
