Russia has test fired a new anti-ballistic missile that it says will defend Moscow from air and space attacks.
The Russian Defense Ministry said a test of its upgraded defence system was carried out at the Sary Shagan range in Kazakhstan.
Footage captured from the site shows the missile being transported from a truck to be positioned for the launch and various angles of the blast.
Authorities claimed the launch was successful with the warhead striking a target “in established time”.
