White House puts Iran ‘on notice’ after missile test

National Security Adviser Michael Flynn on Wednesday condemned Iran’s recent ballistic missile test and said the administration is putting the country “on notice.”

“The Trump Administration condemns such actions by Iran that undermine security, prosperity, and stability throughout and beyond the Middle East and place American lives at risk,” Flynn said, appearing at the daily White House press briefing.

“As of today, we are officially putting Iran on notice.”

Flynn said the launch violated a United Nations Security Council resolution stating that Iran won’t “undertake any activity related to ballistic missiles designed to be capable of delivering nuclear weapons, including launches using such ballistic missile technology.”
