The promising Russian-made S-500 air defense missile system will be unveiled at the Army 2016 international military and technical forum,Rambler News Service reported with reference to a source in the defense and industrial sector.
The Army 2016 forum will be held in September in the Moscow Region, the media source said.
“The work is in the homestretch. Its results will be unveiled at the Army 2016 forum. The advanced system will be able to down medium-range ballistic missile warheads and even intercontinental ballistic missiles,” the media source said.
