Russia to showcase S-400, Tor missile systems at India’s arms exhibition

MOSCOW, April 9. /TASS/. Russia’s Almaz-Antey Group will showcase S-400, Tor and Buk air defense missile systems at India’s Defexpo-2018 arms exhibition on April 11-14, the company’s press office reported on Monday.

“Defense products in the form of mockups and models enjoying demand in countries of the Asia-Pacific Region will be on display: ground-based and seaborne air defense missile systems, including the S-400 Triumf, the S-300VM Antey-2500, the Tor-M2E, the Tor-M2K, the Tor-M2KM, the Buk-M2E, the Osa-AKM1, Rif-M, Shtil-1 and the Tunguska-M1 surface-to-air missile/gun complex, the press office said.

“Our participation in this event is aimed at boosting the image of the company as a reliable supplier of exclusive defense products, and also at expanding the group of potential customers among countries of the south-eastern region,” Almaz-Antey Deputy CEO for Foreign Economic Operations Vyacheslav Dzirkaln was quoted by the press office as saying.

During the arms exhibition, Almaz-Antey officials plan to hold a number of meetings and negotiations with representatives of government and business structures of India and other countries…
