Patriot partner nations to invest $235 million in Patriot Air and Missile Defense System upgrades

Raytheon announced Wednesday that will be upgrading its Patriot Air and Missile Defense System under a $235 million modernization task order from the U.S. Army.

The U.S. Department of Defense announced the task order Monday. The United States and the other 13 Patriot partner nations that rely on Patriot for integrated air and missile defense will provide the funds.

Raytheon will receive the indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity task order awards annually for five years. The awards have a total contract ceiling of more than $235 million.
