MOSCOW, November 19. /TASS/. Missile units of Russia’s Central Military District will hold their first ever nighttime exercise to live-fire from Iskander-M tactical missile systems at a training range in the Orenburg Region in the south Urals, the district’s press office said on Thursday.
“The exercises will focus on officers’ missile strike control as they accomplish their missions during live-fire drills, tactical, technical and other types of commander training,” the press office said in a statement.
Officer crews are practicing tasks in interaction with other units and in a situation maximally close to combat operations. The drills involve over 50 officers and more than 20 pieces of combat hardware.
