The Iranian Air Force on Tuesday unveiled a locally produced long-range cruise missile to be installed on Su-24 tactical bombers, Tasnim reported.

The Asef cruise missile was on public display during the opening of the IRI Air Force’s first tactical underground air base.

The Asef has a warhead with high explosive and destructive power, which can destroy heavy equipment and structures, the media noted.
