Today, Riki Ellison and two members of MDAA’s Advisory Board, Ambassador Robert Joseph and Lt. General (ret.) Ronald Kadish, toured the proposed European ground-based interceptor site which will be located at the Redzikowo Air Force Base, four kilometers north of Slupska, Poland. This tour and review of the site was hosted by the Mayor of Slupska, Maciej Kobylinski.
Before the third site tour, Kobylinski led a briefing to engage, listen and to have an open dialogue focusing on citizen concerns. This briefing took place in Slupska’s Town Hall and there were over 60 people in attendance, made up of town council members, mayors of surrounding communities, community leaders and interested citizens. MDAA representatives were able to raise awareness and answer questions concerning the proposed third site.
