KBS Radio:
Government sources say U.S. troops will not share with Japan intelligence data they collect from the THAAD radar in South Korea.
Amid concerns over the possible expansion of the U.S. global missile defense system to South Korea, sources rejected the worries that followed the allies’ decision to install THAAD in the country.
They said that there is no point of sharing the interception data of descending missiles for early-warning purposes, although the three countries’ intelligence sharing agreement technically allows the transfer of such information.
