Chinese military engineers have reportedly developed a space-based method to overwhelm sophisticated missile-defense systems with fake signals. The Chinese engineers said that this month they had completed a computer simulation and achieved positive results. This new tactic was not previously feasible in space. Now the positive results of the simulation have given the Chinese military hope as they move the project onto the next stage. But the test has sparked fears that such technology could trigger aggressive nuclear response.
