As we gather at our tables on this uniquely American tradition, which began in 1619 and became an official U.S. holiday in 1789, we take note the spirit of Thanksgiving is gratefulness of coming together over the adversity of life as it was in 1619 and as it is today 400 years later. We are grateful for the grit, the trust, and achievements of the diversity of America to ensure our way of life.
Remarkable leadership through the challenges of 2020 has allowed for rapid advancements in the field of missile defense and has saved and secured lives around the world.
