Spain has delivered a second batch of anti-aircraft missiles for Patriot air defence systems to Ukraine.

Sources said that the second batch of missiles from Spain arrived in Ukraine last Friday, 21 June, in addition to the first batch that was delivered at the end of April. 

The missiles for the Patriot are part of a “significant shipment” expected to take place in June this year, as reported by Defence Minister Margarita Robles on 25 May during a meeting of the Ukraine Defence Contact Group, also known as the Ramstein format.
